Patti Doyle, EYRT and Lori Pagliaroni, ERYT, lead this unique training where we will take a deeper dive into the physical practice, yoga philosophy and the challenges of leading an effective class with intelligent, creative sequencing.  We’ll also draw heavily from the Dharma Mittra lineage (Lori is certified at the 800-hour level!) by learning how to teach or at minimum, incorporate, Dharma surya namaskars, purification techniques and yoga nidra into class.  We’ll also progress our understanding of such iconic yoga texts as the last two book of The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Upanishads and the Gheranda-Samhita. Last, our anatomy modules will sharpen our ability to read bodies for appropriate assists/modifications and strengthen our understanding of the critical role fascia plays in the physical practice.

The training is appropriate for those who have completed a 200-hour teacher training and desire a 500-hour level of certification with the Yoga Alliance.

Applicants to this training should be teaching public classes and open to the idea of a yogic diet, daily meditation and an interest in elevating their own practice and teaching techniques. Special guest lecturers will be included in the curriculum.
