Patti Doyle, EYRT and Lori Pagliaroni, E-RYT500 & DYRT 1000hr, lead this unique training where we will take a deeper dive into the physical and energetic practice of yoga history and philosophy, plus focus on the challenges of leading an effective class with intelligent, creative sequencing, all using your own authentic voice. We’ll draw heavily from the classic vinyasa and Dharma Mittra lineage by learning how to teach or at minimum, incorporate, purification techniques such as Yoga Nidra and deeper levels of pranayama and meditation into class.
We’ll progress our understanding of such iconic yoga texts as the last two books of The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita. During anatomy modules, guest lecturers will sharpen our ability to read bodies for appropriate assists/modifications and strengthen our understanding of the critical role fascia plays in the physical practice.
The training is appropriate for those who have completed a 200-hour teacher training and desire a 500-hour level of certification with the Yoga Alliance. While not required, the training is geared to current teachers.

Tuition fee includes a non-refundable $50 application fee, training manual, and reading materials. Fee does not include props, food, or lodging. Payment may be made by check to Thames Street Yoga, or by Visa or MasterCard. A full refund less a $50 application fee will be made if an application is not accepted for any reason.
This option allows the student to divide the tuition cost by 7 payments, due on the first of each training month (October-April). The first payment will be $575, which includes a one-time $75 payment-plan fee, the remaining 6 payments will be $500. The last payment will be due April 1, 2020.
