Vinyasa – Appropriate for all levels of practice. Flow from one posture to the next fully connected to breath and intention. Lots of clear modifications offered for both the absolute beginner and seasoned practitioner.
Heated Vinyasa – Flow in a room heated to about 90 – 95 degrees. Slightly faster-paced than non- heated classes, but appropriate for all levels so long as you can stand the heat!
Heated Vinyasa II – Expect arm balances, some inversions and an artful sequence leading you to an aspirational peak pose or two. Level of instruction is geared to students with an established practice. Heated environment to approximately 90 – 95 degrees.
Beginners - For new yogis & those returning to their mat. Classes will give a Vinyasa overview, including breath awareness, relaxation, some yoga philosophy & the movement of flow.
Slow Flow -
In a fast-paced world we all need to slow down. We slow the pace down a notch or two to allow full integration of each pose - the body is given time to "soften" and allows the mind to focus. Followed by guided meditation or deep relaxation, at the discretion of the instructor.
Dharma Mittra – Long held poses, deep relaxation, breathing and meditation.
Express – Slightly shorter, one hour vinyasa class. ($10 April, May June)
Core Express – Your quick, weekly energizing and invigorating vinyasa yoga class. Various core work will be woven throughout a thoughtful hour-long vinyasa class focusing on poses that challenge balance, create stability & build strength.
Community – $7.00 drop-in, cash or check only. Proceeds donated to various charitable organizations throughout Newport County. Appropriate for all levels. Heated Community class has room at 90 - 95 degrees.
Privates, semi-privates, Wedding, Bachelorette and Off- Site classes available.
