Vinyasa – Appropriate for all levels of practice. Flow from one posture to the next fully connected to breath and intention. Lots of clear modifications offered for both the absolute beginner and seasoned practitioner.
Vinyasa II– Expect arm balances, some inversions and an artful sequence leading you to an aspirational peak pose or two. Level of instruction is geared to students with an established practice. Heated environment to approximately 80 – 85 degrees.
Heated Vinyasa – Flow in a room heated to about 90 – 95 degrees. Slightly faster-paced than non- heated classes, but appropriate for all levels so long as you can stand the heat!
Slow Flow – We slow the pace down a notch or two to allow full integration of each pose. Followed by either guided meditation or deep relaxation, at the instructor’s discretion.
Express – Slightly shorter, one hour vinyasa class. $10
Community - $5.00 drop-in, cash or check only. Proceeds donated to various charitable organizations throughout Newport County. Appropriate for all levels.
Pre-Natal - Suitable for women in any stage of pregnancy. Pose modifications and props will assist you through a practice that relieves pressure on the lower back/neck/shoulders, helps you overcome fatigue, build strength and decrease swelling in the body. The class concludes with a guided meditation, leaving you relaxed and re-energized.
Run/ Yoga Combination – Start with an approximate 3-mile run thru scenic Newport at a moderate pace, followed by 45 minutes of yoga to completely loosen all of the muscles and joints you just worked!
