Emily, a newbie to the art of mindfulness and yogic practice, began her journey in late 2014. Initially drawn to the physical practice, Emily quickly learned that yoga was much more than the asanas practiced in class. After taking several classes and workshops led by Lori Pagliaroni, Emily discovered that there was no end to the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. Inspired by Lori’s dedication and overall knowledge of everything yoga she decided she wanted to create her own journey. Emily earned her RYT-200 in the summer of 2016 under the graceful and awe-inspiring leadership of her mentor, Lori Pagliaroni, and Patti Doyle. Believing in the understanding that “practice makes progress” Emily offers a space that allows students to come up against a growing edge- appreciating, being grateful for what is, and being patient and welcoming of what is to come.
Since receiving her BA in psychology and subsequent MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Salve Regina University in the summer of 2016, Emily works to integrate breathe, movement, and the understanding of human nature to cultivate a higher sense of bliss and understanding.
