Yoga and movement has been a part of Kara’s life for many years. In deeper exploration, its transformative power began to express itself in her life. This lead her to receive training from Thames Street Yoga, completing the 200hr Vinyasa Teacher Training in December 2013 with Patti Doyle & Liz Lindh. She continues to grow and be inspired by many different styles and teachers. Kara has also studied various forms of movement including 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance.
Kara’s style is a Vinyasa flow that focuses on grounding, strength, fluidity, and creative expression, and breath. Her classes are a combination of posture and movement, drawing attention to transitions and the spaces between the poses. She creates intentional music playlists to facilitate a deep meditative journey for students.
By focusing on bringing awareness back to our bodies and listening to it’s wisdom, Kara strives to create a safe and peaceful space for others to process their experience to help facilitate healing & self-discovery. Kara is also an Integrative Holistic Counselor and Expressive Artist.
