Lisa’s yoga journey began nearly 16 years ago when she stepped into a her first yoga class. Having spent several years studying dance, she was immediately drawn to the physical benefits yoga offered. However, it took her several years of dedicated practice and some unforeseen life challenges before she began to realize the extent of yoga’s transformative potential. Lisa discovered, beyond its physical merit, yoga’s ability to quiet the mind, calm the spirit and bring pause to even the most trying situations.
In her teaching, Lisa integrates breath awareness, body awareness and movement through accessible, yet challenging sequencing. She wants to share her passion for yoga while offering space for others to develop strength, self-discovery and intention. Lisa completed her 200-hour RYT certification with Thames Street Yoga in 2013, and her 500-hour RYT advanced training with Live Love Teach in 2016.
